The concept for Ancora Stone and Tile grew out of the owners desires to fill a need in the marketplace. Combining their 20 years of experience in high end custom landscaping, building renovation and creative design, Ancora Stone and Tile was established.
Our high standards for design, style, and great attention to detail, make our clients proud to be apart of the Ancora family. Today the company enjoys a position as one of the premier providers of ceramic tile and natural stone representing the finest manufacturers and suppliers in the industry.
We will meet the demands and budgets of all residential and commercial customers. We love to design and build custom “artisty” and bring your ideas to life. We currently serve southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

CHRIS BOYCE
Meet Chris, the driving force behind our success. With a background rooted in the landscape and construction industry, Chris spent his adolescence alongside his father, acquiring invaluable hands-on experience. Despite initially studying landscape design, his skill set expanded rapidly to include the intricate art of tile setting. In 2009, he founded Ancora Stone and Tile, a testament to his dedication to quality craftsmanship.
Known for his adept problem-solving skills, Chris ensures that every project not only meets, but exceeds expectations. When he’s not immersed in the world of design and construction, he loves spending time with his wife, playing hockey or wakeboarding on their boat at a nearby lake on a summer day. Balancing a busy company with being a dedicated husband and dad to three young kids, Chris embodies the perfect mix of work and family at Ancora Stone and Tile. Step into our world, where Chris’s drive for excellence forms the backbone of everything we do.
JOE BOYCE
This is Joe, our VP of Sales and Operations. Joe’s journey began in family businesses, in both landscaping and the food industry. His previous job in sales and distribution for a national coffee supplier laid the foundation for a well-rounded skill set. Joining Ancora in 2018, Joe seamlessly blends his expertise into his role, where he truly is a jack of all trades.
On a personal note, Joe is a culinary enthusiast, always in the kitchen crafting meals for others. Away from work, he enjoys fishing with his two children and takes on various home improvement projects, showcasing his hands-on approach. What sets Joe apart is not just his professional skill but his personable nature. Building lasting connections, he effortlessly befriends clients and subcontractors, making our projects more than spaces and about meaningful relationships.
TONYA STANLY
Meet Tonya, our Lead Interior Designer, who seamlessly marries professionalism with an approachable demeanor. With a Bachelor of Fine Art in Interior Architecture from UWSP, NCIDQ certification, and seven years of experience in commercial design, Tonya brings a wealth of diverse design expertise to the table. Tonya consistently seeks out educational opportunities and is an active member in the local chapter of ASID, fostering a commitment to professional growth while remaining community oriented. She joined the Ancora team in 2020 and is known for her meticulous attention to detail.
On a personal note, Tonya is a Milwaukee native who enjoys an active lifestyle, including fitness classes and running. You can find her in the kitchen experimenting with healthy recipes and baking. Tonya treasures time spent with her husband, two young sons, and dog Ziggy, making her a relatable and personable presence in our team.
KRISTI KIMBALL
Meet Kristi, our Junior Designer. A native to Southeast Wisconsin, Kristi’s vibrant and active lifestyle shines through her work. Outside of designing, you’ll often find her at the CrossFit gym, exploring the outdoors through running, golfing, and even wakeboarding or snowboarding. She also loves spending time with her two dogs, Charlie and Lily.
With a strong foundation in the corporate retail world, Kristi dedicated a decade of her career to companies like Kohls, Bonton, and Sports Authority. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and supply chain operations, but her passion for design led her to embark on a new journey in 2022, as she returned to school to study interior design. Kristi is set to graduate in May 2025 with an Associate degree in Applied Science, specializing in Interior Design and Kitchen and Bath. Kristi joined Ancora Stone and Tile in 2022 demonstrating remarkable skill and interest in 3D rendering. Her dedication to design and diverse background makes her a valuable asset to our team.
OUR PROCESS
Our process is simple, yet strong in detail. From our initial meeting, design phase through construction Ancora is with you every step of the way! Our focus on detail is key in providing our clients an end result that they can be happy with and one which exceeds expectations. Ancora prides itself on service, a clean and organized work site, staying on schedule and staying strong with every aspect of the project completed. Ancora offers a two year warranty on its craftsmanship.
